Creativity, Sensitivity and Calm

羊

The Goat (also known as the Sheep) is the most artistic and sensitive sign in the Chinese zodiac. People born under this sign are gentle, full of compassion and gifted with a vivid imagination. They live in a world of dreams and beauty, avoiding harsh reality. They are pacifists who value peace of mind and harmony in relationships above all else. Although on the outside they may seem fragile, inside they have a survival instinct that allows them to overcome difficulties with quiet determination.

The Goat is a master of "carpe diem". It does not worry about the past or obsessively plan the future. It takes joy in what the moment brings, appreciating life's small pleasures.

Personality Traits

Goats are creative by nature and have excellent taste. They love art, fashion and everything aesthetic. They are extremely empathetic and always ready to help those in need, often putting the good of others before their own.

Their weakness can be indecision and a lack of discipline. The Goat does not like pressure or strictness. It needs freedom and support in order to spread its wings. It is often pessimistic and inclined to complain, expecting others to solve its problems. Even so, its personal charm means there is always someone willing to help. The Goat cannot stand conflict and will do a lot to avoid it, sometimes resorting to diplomacy and sometimes simply withdrawing.

Love and Relationships

In love the Goat is romantic, tender and devoted. It can create a magical atmosphere and make its partner feel special. Deep down, however, it longs to be cared for. It looks for a strong partner who will give it a sense of security and financial stability.

The Goat can be capricious and moody. It needs a lot of attention and reassurance of love. In the bedroom it is sensual and likes to experiment, but it is not a conqueror - it prefers to be seduced. If it feels loved, it blossoms and becomes a wonderful, loyal life companion.

Career and Finances

The Goat is not the businessperson or corporate "rat" type. Competition and the race for money are not in its nature. Money matters to it only insofar as it allows a comfortable and beautiful life, but it rarely motivates it to slave away.

It does best in freelance, artistic and caring professions. It can be an outstanding painter, writer or interior designer, but also a therapist or social worker. It needs work that gives it emotional satisfaction. It often relies on the financial support of a partner or family, but once it finds its passion, it can succeed.

The Goat and the Elements

Water Goat Very emotional and sensitive. It easily takes on other people's problems, which can overwhelm it. It does not like change and needs stable support from its loved ones.
Wood Goat The most altruistic. It has a big heart and a desire to help. It is inspiring and creative, but often forgets about its own needs.
Fire Goat Brave and intuitive. It has the makings of an actor and likes to dramatise. It can be reckless with money, but its charisma draws people in.
Earth Goat A connoisseur of beauty. It loves luxury and exquisite objects. It is more practical than other Goats, but can be materialistic. An excellent art critic.
Metal Goat Stubborn and ambitious. It is more resistant to criticism and determined in pursuing its goals. Beneath its mask of self-confidence, however, lies a sensitive soul.

Compatibility with Other Signs

Goat + Rat A difficult match. The Rat is too critical and the Goat too sensitive. The Rat may try to dominate, which the Goat will take badly.
Goat + Ox No understanding. The Ox is a realist, the Goat a dreamer. The Ox will not accept the Goat's whims and lack of discipline.
Goat + Tiger A risky relationship. The Tiger may fascinate the Goat, but will quickly overwhelm it. In the bedroom there may be fire, in life - ashes.
Goat + Rabbit A harmonious couple. Both love art, peace and beauty. They support each other emotionally and understand each other without words.
Goat + Dragon An unequal relationship. The Goat admires the Dragon and needs its care. If the Dragon surrounds it with care, they will be happy.
Goat + Snake Possible, but cool. The Snake may get bored with the Goat's passivity, and the Goat may feel neglected by the self-absorbed Snake.
Goat + Horse A good match. The Horse brings energy, the Goat warmth. They complement each other and can create a happy home.
Goat + Goat Two dreamers. It will be romantic and artistic, but who will pay the bills? They may drown in practical problems.
Goat + Monkey An interesting match. The clever Monkey can help the Goat in life, and the Goat will give the Monkey inspiration. It requires tolerance, though.
Goat + Rooster Constant friction. The Rooster will criticise and hurry the Goat, and the Goat will withdraw into itself. Happiness is hard to find.
Goat + Dog A pessimistic couple. Both tend to worry. They may drag each other down instead of supporting each other.
Goat + Pig A happy relationship. The Pig is generous and understanding, which the Goat adores. Both value home and hearth.
